Arch Rival Roller Derby events are held at Midwest Sport Hockey, located at Queeny Park (570 Weidman Road – Ballwin, MO). The climate-controlled facility has been our local home since April 2011 and has hosted both the Men’s Roller Derby Association Championships in 2012 and 2015 as well as the multi-day Sibling Rivalry invitational since 2015.
Discounted tickets for ARCH events can be purchased in advance online via Brown Paper Tickets. Further savings can be made with a group ticket purchase. Check our website’s main page for links.
Regular-priced tickets can be purchased at the door on game nights. All ticket prices on game night are the same for all spectators, except for children aged 10 and under who receive complimentary admission. Payment can be made onsite in either cash or with a debit/credit card (preferred).
Lighted, complimentary parking is available at Midwest Sport Hockey. Once you enter Queeny Park, signage will direct you to the facility and parking. For those that require handicap accessibility, lower-level parking at the facility is available. Please contact us in advance if you have any questions.
VENUE OPENING & EVENT TIMES
The doors to Midwest Sport Hockey on ARCH game nights open at 6 pm and the first game of the two-game event starts at 6:30 pm while the second game is scheduled for an 8 pm start.
VENUE ENTRY, SEATING AND RE-ENTRY
All patrons are to enter at the main doors of Midwest Sport Hockey. For those that require handicap accessibility, lower-level entry to the facility is available. Please contact us in advance if you have any questions.
All seating is general admission. Three options for seating are offered: a bleacher viewpoint that presents the full aspect of game play, folding chairs located on track level and “Splash Zone” seating directly on the floor that is, literally, the closest to the action. (Note: “Splash Zone” is considered “sit at your own risk” and those aged 18 and under are not eligible to sit in that area).
Once you enter the venue, you will receive a hand stamp and can exit and re-enter the facility throughout the evening.
Midwest Sport Hockey is a non-smoking facility. For patrons that smoke, areas are available outside the building. For those that use e-cigarettes and vaporizers, it is recommended to consume those products in those outdoor designated areas out of respect to other spectators.
Concession stand food (pizza, nachos, pretzels, etc.) and beverages (soda, beer, power drinks, water, etc.) are available for purchase with either cash or credit/debit card. Identification is required for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. Outside food/beverage is prohibited.
There is no ATM available at Midwest Sport Hockey.
Restrooms are located at floor-level of the venue. Signage will direct you to those facilities.
Taking digital pictures at our games and immediately posting them online is whole-heartedly encouraged and collecting autographs from ARCH skaters and taking individual pictures with them are universally welcomed because we love our fans. However, we respectfully ask that you wait until the completion of the game to take individual pictures and collect autographs from our athletes.
EMTs that are contracted to oversee the safety of our athletes can also assist spectators that might suffer a mishap on event night. They are located at floor level near the benches. If a medical situation arises, please approach them for assistance.
GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT
Again, we love our fans but we also want to have a safe environment in order to enjoy the action. Please check our Guest Code of Conduct page on the website to see what is frowned upon on game nights.
