OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM ARCH RIVAL ROLLER DERBY FOLLOWING TV NEWS REPORT
Arch Rival Roller Derby recently participated in a locally-televised news report regarding non-payment of monies owed to us from a national ticket management company that had historically provided support to our events.
Not only did this company provide advance ticket support to our local games but also to our annual Trivia Night for table ticket sales. Our working relationship with them has always been fruitful in the past, but recently they have been delinquent in payments of monies generated by recent ARCH events.
Specifically, the company failed to pay ARCH revenue that was owed from our 2020 Trivia Night and from our February 29 doubleheader event that was accumulated by advance sales.
After months of payment delinquency from the agency, the ARCH Board of Directors enlisted the services of local media in order to bring awareness to the situation in an attempt to find resolution without incorporating legal counsel. ARCH thanks and acknowledges the media for their support.
For now, ARCH will continue efforts to recoup monies that were rightfully generated from our events. Whether we fully receive what we’re owed remains in doubt but we will continue to hold future events regardless of the outcome.
