Weekend Road Trip Results

All three travel Arch Rival Roller Derby travel teams made road trips this past weekend.

The Arch Rival All-Stars, currently ranked fourth internationally by the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), traveled to Los Angeles, California and competed at Tinseltown Showdown at the home track of Angel City Roller Derby.

In Saturday’s sanctioned game, ARCH topped #21 Arizona 282-50. Then Sunday afternoon, ARCH finished the sweep with a 142-91 victory over the #7 Angel City Derby Hollywood Scarlets.

The pair of wins pushes the All-Stars’ record to 5-2. The team will host a non-sanctioned scrimmage against the Windy City Rollers next Saturday at their practice location.

Meanwhile the B & C teams – the Nemesis and the Fleur De Linquents – traveled to Tennessee to take on the A & B teams of Nashville Roller Derby.

In the opener at the Fairgrounds, the FDLs fell to the Music City Brawl Stars 159-148 and saw their record slip to 2-3.

In the main event, the Nemesis suffered a 172-147 setback to the Music City All-Stars and fell to 2-5.

The FDLs next game is a home contest against Dark River Derby Coalition on Saturday, September 28 while the Nemesis travels to Quincy to take on DRDC on September 14.
