Lunachix Post Huge Win Over Minnesota

(BALLWIN, MO) Arch Rival Roller Derby’s B-team, the Saint Lunachix, notched a 238-124 home victory over the Minnesota Nice Saturday night at Midwest Sport Hockey.

With the 114-point duke, the Chix improved their record to 2-2.

Saturday’s triumph over the Nice, who sported a 7-1 record heading into battle, was imperative as the Chix craved a repeat invite to the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association’s (WFTDA) annual b-team post-season tournament, held this October in Tampa, Florida.

The Lunachix will find out shortly if they officially made the 10-team cut but safe money projects post-season entry.

Up next for the Chix is an August 13 road trip to the Sunshine State to face Jacksonville Roller Derby’s River City Rat Pack (5-2).
