Lunachix Notch Win In Nashvega$

(NASHVILLE, TN) Arch Rival Roller Derby’s B-team, the Saint Lunachix, traveled to the Volunteer State Saturday and collected a 275-102 victory over the Music City All Stars of the Nashville Rollergirls, current ranked #98 internationally by the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

The Lunachix (1-2) held a 123-50 lead at intermission and proceeded to outscore NRG 102-52 in the second period to pick up their first win of the season.

Psychokid D’ Freakout and Pegasass picked up Most Valuable Player honors, respectively, at jammer and blocker.

The Lunachix will play at Midwest Sport Hockey on Saturday, July 29 against the Minnesota Nice.
