ARCH Saint Lunachix Reveal 2017 Charter

On Tuesday, Arch Rival Roller Derby’s B-Team, the Saint Lunachix, revealed members of their 2017 travel charter that will compete against other national teams within the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

The St. Lunachix defeated the St. Chux Derby Chix Pack in Black in unsanctioned WFTDA play. The Lunachix finished last season 8-3 and placed seventh internationally at the WFTDA B-Team Championships, “Sting of the Hill,” held in Norcross, Georgia.

The new Lunachix benchmark set last October made February’s flat-track audition reach new heights, both in terms of quantity and quality.

“This was our biggest tryout to date,” said skater Psychokid D’ Freakout, who served as co-captain of last year’s squad. “We had an amazing turnout and it was a great representation for our league. It very much represented the depth that Arch Rival is operating with right now.”

Lunchix-Crown-Logo-040715Per custom, crossover skaters from the ARCH All-Stars A-team charter, such as the aforementioned D’Freakout, can compete within the Lunachix during a designated period. As of this writing, D’Freakout plans to continue crossover status and skate with the Lunachix. Other A-team skaters designated for Lunachix eligibility will be revealed at a later date.
